These 2 gorgeous kittens were adopted in June 2009 after a VERY rough start in life. They now live with another Tortoiseshell cat 'Billie' and we think their new owner, Nadya deserves a medal for living with not just 1 but 3 naughty Torties! Nadya, we salute you! Neutering And Microchipping

Neutering your pet helps to stop the continual cycle of unwanted dogs, cats and other pets into re-homing centres like ours. If your pet is not already neutered please consider it.

The Nottingham and Notts Branch offers a low cost neutering scheme. In certain circumstances we can also assist with transport for this operation.

Our vouchers CANNOT be used in conjunction with any other charities.

We re-home hundreds of unwanted, abandoned and stray animals during the year. Taking on a pet is a huge responsibility. They rely on you as their owner to provide everything they need, food, water, shelter, medical care and love. Sadly, pets are still seen by some as disposable.

Once left, abandoned or uncared for an unneutered female cat can produce 4 litters a year... on average 7 kittens per litter... all capable of breeding from 6 months of age. The problem is vast but the solution is simple... NEUTER YOUR PET.

MICROCHIPPING

We offer a Microchipping service for cats at the Branch at a cost of £15.00. This is by appointment only. Micro-chipping is a permanent form of identification, if your pet is lost and taken into any rescue Centre (e.g. RSPCA, Dog warden, Vets, other animal charities) they will be scanned and returned to you in a very short space of time.
